Moe was great, responsive and knowledgeable. The crew as prompt and professional, going the extra distance, and they even foamed up a couple HVAC penetrations from an HVAC install the week before. I can highly recommend Koala, value, professionalism and pride in the job."

"Saying that they did a good job is an understatement I reached out to them to insulate my crawl space after I had to remove insulation last year due to water damage. Couldn’t take cold floors anymore. Moe was able to fit me in for an estimate and get my crawl space done pretty fast. We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Only suggestion: I wish they took before and after pictures that way the consumer can see exactly the difference. In my case I went down to crawl space before and after. Same with attic but not everyone is able to do that. On the attic project I did ask Grant to take pictures"

They set up quickly, moved some obstacles, made way for the long hose and got to work. Grant & Cam cleaned up after they were done & we’re happy, warmer customers!"

Moe was great, responsive and knowledgeable. The crew as prompt and professional, going the extra distance, and they even foamed up a couple HVAC penetrations from an HVAC install the week before. I can highly recommend Koala, value, professionalism and pride in the job."

"Saying that they did a good job is an understatement I reached out to them to insulate my crawl space after I had to remove insulation last year due to water damage. Couldn’t take cold floors anymore. Moe was able to fit me in for an estimate and get my crawl space done pretty fast. We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Only suggestion: I wish they took before and after pictures that way the consumer can see exactly the difference. In my case I went down to crawl space before and after. We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Only suggestion: I wish they took before and after pictures that way the consumer can see exactly the difference. In my case I went down to crawl space before and after. Same with attic but not everyone is able to do that. On the attic project I did ask Grant to take pictures"

"Saying that they did a good job is an understatement I reached out to them to insulate my crawl space after I had to remove insulation last year due to water damage. Couldn’t take cold floors anymore. Moe was able to fit me in for an estimate and get my crawl space done pretty fast. We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Only suggestion: I wish they took before and after pictures that way the consumer can see exactly the difference. In my case I went down to crawl space before and after. Same with attic but not everyone is able to do that. On the attic project I did ask Grant to take pictures"

"Saying that they did a good job is an understatement I reached out to them to insulate my crawl space after I had to remove insulation last year due to water damage. Couldn’t take cold floors anymore. Moe was able to fit me in for an estimate and get my crawl space done pretty fast. We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Only suggestion: I wish they took before and after pictures that way the consumer can see exactly the difference. In my case I went down to crawl space before and after. Same with attic but not everyone is able to do that. On the attic project I did ask Grant to take pictures"

Why air sealing is important

Insulation alone is not going to be as effective as with combining it with air sealing. To deliver the optimal improved energy efficiency, air sealing will act as a vapor barrier and stop any air from penetrating into your home.

By sealing all gaps and holes, it creates an air barrier, blocking air from passing through walls and the ceiling into the attic or outside air in filtrating into your home.

A properly sealed home will not only stop air leakage but will also keep water out, keeping your insulation in top condition. It also contributes to increased comfort, improved indoor quality, lower utility bills and controls moisture.

CELLULOSE

Cellulose consists of fibers made from recycled newspaper, cardboard, or wood and is made with or without binders. Cellulose is a very common type of blown-in insulation as it is made from recycled materials and is chemically treated to resist pests, mold, and fire. Boric acid is the primary chemical used to treat Cellulose insulation and is found naturally in seawater, fruits, and plants.

FIBERGLASS

Fiberglass is made from plastic, glass, and other raw materials that are melted and spun into fibers that resemble the texture of wool. Fiberglass insulation has moisture and fire-resistant properties. Because fiberglass is made from sand and glass, it is naturally non-combustible. Fiberglass has significant recycled content with some loose-fill products containing up to 80% recycled glass.

We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Moe was great, responsive and knowledgeable. The crew as prompt and professional, going the extra distance, and they even foamed up a couple HVAC penetrations from an HVAC install the week before. I can highly recommend Koala, value, professionalism and pride in the job."

"Saying that they did a good job is an understatement I reached out to them to insulate my crawl space after I had to remove insulation last year due to water damage. Couldn’t take cold floors anymore. Moe was able to fit me in for an estimate and get my crawl space done pretty fast. We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Only suggestion: I wish they took before and after pictures that way the consumer can see exactly the difference. In my case I went down to crawl space before and after. "Saying that they did a good job is an understatement I reached out to them to insulate my crawl space after I had to remove insulation last year due to water damage. Couldn’t take cold floors anymore. Moe was able to fit me in for an estimate and get my crawl space done pretty fast. We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Only suggestion: I wish they took before and after pictures that way the consumer can see exactly the difference. In my case I went down to crawl space before and after. Same with attic but not everyone is able to do that. On the attic project I did ask Grant to take pictures"

They set up quickly, moved some obstacles, made way for the long hose and got to work. Grant & Cam cleaned up after they were done & we’re happy, warmer customers!"

"I met Moe recently when I reached out for a quote, thinking my insulation needed replacing. Although we only spoke once, I was really impressed by his honesty and candidness. Instead of trying to sell me a service I didn't need, he took the time to explain that replacement wasn’t necessary. It was clear that Moe wasn’t focused on making a sale, but on what would be best and most cost-effective for me. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely concerned about the customer’s needs, and I truly appreciated his integrity. "We recently had our attic re-insulated by Koala. (1) can tell a huge difference in room temps already (2) the price and service cannot be beat (3) we would highly recommend using Koala if you are wanting some insulating done to your house!!"

"Koala took a 3,000+ sq.ft. under-insulated home and made it comfortable. From the blow-in insulated attic to the basement batt insulation, Koala did it all. Moe was great, responsive and knowledgeable. The crew as prompt and professional, going the extra distance, and they even foamed up a couple HVAC penetrations from an HVAC install the week before. I can highly recommend Koala, value, professionalism and pride in the job."

"Saying that they did a good job is an understatement I reached out to them to insulate my crawl space after I had to remove insulation last year due to water damage. Couldn’t take cold floors anymore. Moe was able to fit me in for an estimate and get my crawl space done pretty fast. We ended up going with a thick vapor barrier and spray foam with sealing the vents to deal with both moisture issue and insulation. The wife was so happy with the job that we ended up reaching out to them again to beef up our attic insulation. We were not planning on getting that done for a while due to budgeting and thinking not sure if it will help much. Once again they scheduled us in a week and knocked it out in a couple hours. Plus they also ended up venting my bathroom exhaust with a non standard 8inch diameter opening for no additional charge Felt a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference right away. Now I can finally sleep in the master bedroom without freezing my ass off. Toddler won’t be happy because we’ve all been cozying up in her warm room and neither will the electric company when my bill goes down :-) Very good pricing, easy to communicate with quick response time, punctual, everyone we dealt with were friendly and super nice, answered all questions and best part cleaned up well after they were done Recommend to anyone with insulation needs. Only suggestion: I wish they took before and after pictures that way the consumer can see exactly the difference. In my case I went down to crawl space before and after. Same with attic but not everyone is able to do that. On the attic project I did ask Grant to take pictures"
